Hello this is the first time I've ever done something like this so youll have to bare with me as I figure this out.
My name is Allison and my husbands name is Theodore. We met September of 2023 on a silly little app called discord. He was a mod for a YouTuber I liked, yes I know make your jokes now. He caught my attention very quickly and its been a wild ride since then. We started dating October 26th 2023.

We were long distance, about 6 and a half hours from each other.
My husband has been serving in the Navy for 6 years come December and is getting out then. So his job didnt have a lot of free time so I went to him for a week while we were still in our talking phase.
I went up for Halloween week. I got there and after that week I knew he was someone special to me. He did so much for me in one week than most people have done for me in years. Leaving him that week was torture and knowing that the next time I'd see him was Christmas time hurt.

Christmas came around and it was the best I've had in a very long time.... thats a story for another day.
He was perfect for me. Caring and understanding. Loving but pushed me to be better. Made me laugh till I almost peed myself. I knew on Christmas day that Theo was my person. I was scared of how fast I realized it. My heart was so guarded and I wanted to be safe but my brain knew.

January came around and I decided half way through it I couldnt be apart from him again and visited again. I surprised him and he was happy to see me again.
We both got covid while I was there and the whole time he was taking care of me cause I got it worse than he did. I saw him doing all these things and said to myself. I couldn't do it I cant go back home where it was lonely and dark.
So I stayed.
Many months of adventures went by and on February of 2025. He proposed.

I said yes obviously. Haha! Of course I'd wanna spend forever with my soul mate.
In late May we were married by court. And would have a ceremony with everyone in 2027.

Late June he had to deploy.
Its now October 10th and we will see each other again tonight.
But thats our story for now that im willing to share haha. These first few blogs will be stories of us and Theos first trip on the sailboat coming home to see me so I cant wait to share those!
Till then.
Keep sailing on! ⛵️❤️
